A 'brilliant' plan to move rooms around in our house has amounted to frustration, procrastination, obsession and addiction. The house is still in complete disarray and we've managed to get only one room nearly complete - my workroom wasn't it. I still have no place to paint or sew but I now have the biggest room in the house to do it. I face piles of boxes to be unpacked and for some odd reason, not enough room to place everything. That's because the biggest room also has the most doors and windows - so, I can't block doors or windows and it leaves me with having to figure out how the hell to place everything strategically so I have access to my stuff, the windows, and not block any doors --- as I said, oh crap!
This has led me to massive periods of frustration. I've managed to place several major pieces of furniture - namely the shelves that hold my hordes of fabrics, but still no permanent home for my sewing table or painting table ... again, without blocking something! Grrrr.
So, I fall back on procrastination with my gaming addiction. No, not online - my usual The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion. You'd think I'd have had my fill but, no. And of course playing the game causes more procrastination, but I came to some sense. I know that hanging out at deviantART helps inspire me into action. And the fact that since my husband's obsession with finishing his room (where he can listen to his collection of music without having me ask him to turn it down, just a tad) first has somewhat lit a small flame under my ass to move forward.
I hope to be back in full swing shortly, but until then ...
